I’m a startup fanatic and I really value the importance of proper growth. I've experienced how companies too often short-change their potential by missing the mark on a few important things: process and hiring. I am proud to offer my expertise to help companies grow effectively.
My mantra is Get Sh*t Done. I am bold, straight forward, caring and value integrity. Many team members refer to me as "the fixer of everything". I think that's excessive but I definitely try.

I started my career 15 years ago in New York City working for the Durst Organization. I quickly pivoted when the market collapsed in 2009. I then was exposed to the hedge fund world and became an analyst, working for companies like Maverick Capital and Galleon Group. This was my entry point in the world of software services where I evaluated companies like Groupon. After being exposed to legal agreements and earnings calls decided to join NBA's legal team and worked closely with David Stern's team to review player contracts. My desire for real estate continued and I had the opportunity to join a growing national team as a research analyst. I quickly grew up the ranks and remember setting my goal to becoming a broker in 5 years, which I shorted to 3 years. During those 3 years, I helped close over 100M in real estate and then moved to San Diego to join Cushman and Wakefield as one of the only female brokers in single tenant commercial brokerage in all of California. Working with a great team, I sharpened by skills in sales and ran a small team of researchers and marketers. I then was nominated for Woman of the Year (I still don't know by who) and prior to that a Woman of Influence in New York. After mentoring a friend in sales in 2016 I realized that my diverse skillset can help this company grow. In 2017 I left real estate and helped a consulting company grow to a multi million dollar SaaS platform. Over the last 5 years, I have helped 20x the valuation of ion Learning, raised 1.5 million, grew the team from 2 people to 15 and plan to help others do the same and more. Since then I have advised a Cannabis SaaS technology and continue mentoring new founders.
SMART Goals - EOS Operating System - Agile Methods
The COO – sometimes known as the Integrator or Head of Operations – is typically the second in command in a company and reports to the CEO. This person manages and handles the daily business operations of the company, working closely with department heads and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of employees and may have a specialty or focus based on their background. For example, I am very involved with product development along side of HR and Accounting.
A COO's can have a number of different types of expertises. The "typical" COO has a multifaceted skill set but may have a specific business unit focus. This is why this role can be complex but versatile. As someone hiring for a COO you need to consider your strengths and weaknesses. Because the COO is the right hand partner to the CEO compatibility and connection is extremely important.
When a company is small, the CEO can generally handle many tasks independently. The CEO is typically a visionary and the COO is typically the Integrator. As more tasks pile up, the day-to-day operations can become too overwhelming and vision can even become clouded for the CEO. The COO helps delegate, priority, and execute on projects and plans. The COO can also take over specific areas that so that the CEO can focus growth, awareness, etc.
The COO's job is to streamline and execute. If you have tons of ideas but you are having a hard time deciding on what to focus on then it's time to hire a COO. The COO ensures that the infrastructure for scale is being built to help sustain the growth ahead in an efficient and effective way.
Here is a great blog on all the different types of COO's
